Change Happens

You pay for your coffee and the clerk gives you change.  You buy groceries, gum, even a soda and you get change.  Sometimes you use the change; but more often than not, the change ends up in the cup holder in your car or in a dish on the counter.

Before you know it, you've got a lot of change.

That's how it is with life.  We see change every day.  Sometimes the changes are big.  Other times the changes are small.  Eventually we look back and think about all the change we've seen in our lives.  Unlike the change in our cup holder though, the change we receive in our life cannot be pulled out and exchanged.

As our life changes for good or bad, we must accept it, use it, or change it.

If you've kept up with events in the barber shop over the past two years, you've seen a great many changes.  Some big, like opening up a game room in the back.  Others little like a new Mr. Peanut artifact or the addition of a new poster to the wall.

Coming in July, the barbershop will experience yet another change.  One that I hope will be a hit with many of you.  Starting in July, the barbershop will be open on Thursdays from noon until 7pm with expanded hours other days.

The new shop hours starting July 5th are:

Sunday & Monday - Closed

Tuesday & Wednesday - 8am until 4pm

Thursday - Noon until 7pm

Friday - 8am until 4pm

Saturday - 8am until 3pm

Additionally, although the shop will remain mostly walk in, I will be accepting appointments.   Simply call the shop to schedule your appointment for the time that is most convenient for you.  I will be implementing a sign-in sheet.  When you come into the shop, simply put your name down and select the service you want.  My hope is to better manage the queue and potentially reduce your wait time.

As with life, we continually receive and make change.  I do hope you will find these changes to your liking.

Cheers,

Dan
